Honey & Sriracha Glazed Wings

Wings need constant air movement to render the fat and crisp the skin making an air fryer the perfect tool for the job.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1.5 kg chicken wings
  • 120 g honey
  • 120 g sriracha
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • sesame seeds to serve

Method
 

  1. Mix the baking powder and salt together.
  2. Remove the wing tips and split the wings into mini drumsticks and winglets
  3. Toss the wings in the salt and baking powder mixture, covering well and evenly
  4. arrange in the air fryer baskets, leaving room between the wings to allow air to circulate around the wings.
  5. Air fry at 200°C for 15 mins, shake, then cook for another 5–10 mins.
  6. Mix the honey, sriracha and oil in a large bowl until well-combined and smooth.
  7. Toss the cooked wings in the honey sriracha mixture.
  8. Transfer to a serving plate and top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
